A chance to see "Watching & Waiting", a feature film shot, edited and screened in 72 hours as part of the Galway Film Fleadh in 2008. Director James Fair and cinematographer John Bradburn will be present for an informal Q&A afterwards, and discussing their plans for the next 72 Hour Movie project, "The Ballad of Des & Mo", which will be shot as part of the Melbourne International Film Festival in Australia this August.

The film starts promptly at 8pm!

    Synopsis:
Katherine Mellor (Johanne Murdock) is a private investigator with the task of monitoring Michael, a businessman suspected of infidelity. For three days she follows his movements and interactions during his ‘business’ trip to Galway, gathering evidence that will incriminate the unsuspecting Michael (Rory Mullen).

However, when Katherine meets Tomas (David Keoghan), an escort that she hires to provide cover for one evening, she realises that she has perhaps interpreted Michael’s situation incorrectly. What follows is a journey into her understanding of love, truth and faithfulness.

When faced with the reality that her spying will determine Michael’s future, Katherine is forced to make difficult decisions that put her own principles to the test.
