New Horizons for UK Film: Consultation event dates - Sheffield - 23 May, Bristol - 24 May, Newcastle - 25 May, Cardiff - 25 May, Birmingham - 28 May, Glasgow - 29 May, London - 30 May, Manchester - 31 May, Belfast - 1 June.
Take part in the BFI’s consultation to discuss its proposals in support of the future of UK film. Book now for one of our consultation events; Give your views online from 14 May 2012. New Horizons for UK Film outlines the BFI's proposals for investing Lottery support for UK film and sets out a fresh agenda to capitalise on British creativity and talent. The proposals cover a wide range of activities for supporting filmmaking, production, development, distribution and exhibition, education, skills development and film heritage – with a central focus on building audiences across the UK and on all platforms. On 14 May we will launch a UK-wide consultation on these proposals and we welcome your comments. Do you agree with our priorities? Are the proposals right? How can the final plan be improved? If you have received this email you are invited to attend one of our open consultations and discuss your views with us in person. For more information or to rsvp for an event, please register though Eventbrite. The consultation document will be available online from 14 May. Whether you can attend one of our events or not, we also invite you to feedback online through the consultation questionnaire available at bfi.org.uk/future.
