The Birmingham Film Marketplace is open for business: Applications invited
The Producers’ Forum in partnership with Film Birmingham is holding its fifth Marketplace for filmmakers, returning to the Park Regis Hotel on Broad Street on 26 October. The Marketplace is a major event on our annual calendar, one that not only we look forward to but have the enthusiasm and backing of major players in the industry.
To give a taste of the feedback we get:
From the industry:
‘The event included an exciting array of regional talent. Seems like a great opportunity for newer filmmakers to meet various industry contacts face to face.’ (BFI);
‘It's a pleasure to make the journey to Birmingham, and well done on sourcing such a wonderful venue!’ (Cynthia De Souza, The Works).
From a participant: ‘I thought the market place was an absolute success! I find it pretty incredible that you succeeded at bringing these big companies together at such a lovely venue. It was all around great. A hugely useful and convenient hub of industry figures and professionals! An event not to miss!’ (Leyla Caglayan, SugarMouse Films)
