Monday 8th and Monday 15th January
(plus half-day field trip)

9am - 5pm

Have you ever dreamt of working on shows like Victoria, Broadchurch, Sherlock or Poldark? Do you work in an industry from which you have relevant transferable skills, such as events, logistics, office management or hair and make-up? Or do you have some experience in TV or film already?

Dramatic Beginnings is a three-day boot camp for anyone looking to break into the world of High End TV Drama production. The boot camp consists of two days intensive training, plus a field trip to a production set or to meet people working in the industry.

You’ll work with two mentors highly experienced in TV and film production, who will support you to develop your own personal High End TV career roadmap.

The boot camp is designed to support applications to Creative Skillset’s Trainee Finder scheme. If successful, you will become part of an industry recognised group of trainees, receiving exclusive access to training placements on some of the most exciting dramas being shot in the UK: find out more here.

How to apply

Please apply using the Dramatic Beginnings - High End TV Drama boot camp application form.

Deadline for applications is Monday 11 December. Places are limited - early applications are encouraged and will be considered before the final deadline.

We are keen to support diversity in the industry and so strongly encourage women, people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds and those who consider themselves disabled to apply. A passion for High End TV drama is the main criteria we are looking for in all applicants.

Applicants must be over 21 and not in full-time education. Priority will be given to West Midlands based applicants.

If you have any questions please email info@producersforum.org.uk.

This programme is supported by the High End TV Levy Fund, managed by Creative Skillset.
