The Producers’ Forum proudly presents Forum Bytes, a new initiative for Forum Members to share their work on the large screen, which will take place three times a year. Our first event will be Monday, 3 July at The Mockingbird Theatre and Bar, whom we are excited to have partnered up once more. All are welcomed but only Forum members’ work will be eligible for screening. (Good reason to join?)
So show us your shorts and show us what you’re currently working on. Any genre including promos, adverts and well, anything you can throw at us.
This screening event will be part of our regular networking so you can chat more about your work to interested parties. This is a great opportunity for members to share new and existing work. At this stage, we are predominately looking to screen only short pieces of work due to time constraints, including adverts, promos, trailers and music videos. If you have a project that is over ten minutes, a documentary or a feature film, then this is also a great chance to screen a trailer or short scene from longer formatted work of any genre.
The event will be compered by Forum board member and co-founder Mark Pressdee. Mark has hosted and compered short film nights for years in the region, including collaborating on past events such as Exploding Cinema for Birmingham International Film Festival, Film First, Fix Films, Bizarro TV and Local Shorts Film Club. So we are hoping for a fun but informal night with a chance for Q&As about your work.
If you would like your work considered for our next batch of screenings, please send a viewing link and brief synopsis to Mark Pressdee
